TJ Hambrick is a 2024 OF/2B with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Pike Road, AL who attends Pike Road Historic. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and some present physical strength proportioned with additional room to fill. Runs well, posted a 6.90 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, works to and through the ball well and gets behind it nicely while gaining momentum, sound footwork and shows fluidity to actions, quick arm and shows carry to the intended base, nice energy and aggressiveness. Long and loose arm action in the infield, shows body control and athleticism in actions, fields the ball deep, will continue to refine and improve. Right-handed hitter, begins with a balanced stroke and shows quickness to hands while utilizing a leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Generates leverage to swing and shows intent with eacy swing while generating solid bat speed through the zone. Works to the middle of the field with line drive contact and shows a consistent feel for the barrel. Good student.
