Jimmy "Witt" Wetherington is a 2022 C/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Boston, GA who attends Thomasville. He ran a 7.66 second sixty. A primary catcher with a large physical frame. Behind the plate he starts with a square stance, he showed quick feet gaining some ground into his throws with a transfer in the middle of his body, he does a nice job staying in his leg with good carry on his accurate throws with a 2.07 second pop time. At the plate, he starts with a balanced stance from the right side, his hands work quick through the hitting zone with good feel for the barrel as he generates some power with a good weight shift into contact. Excellent student.
