Erik Altemus is a 2020 RHP/OF with a 6-1 166 lb. frame from Boise, ID who attends Bishop Kelly. Long and lean young pitcher's build, lots of room to get stronger, especially long legs. Works from the stretch with a high 3/4's to over the top arm slot, very long and extended arm action, arm is loose with some whip coming through. Worked up to 83 mph on his fastball, more velocity in there with additional strength and physical maturity. Creates movement off his fastball with intent, will go 2-seam in the upper 70's with some fading action and will frequently cut his fastball to get it to move the other direction. Didn't not throw a conventional breaking ball or change up this outing. 7.76 runner. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a high back elbow start, downward swing plane, works pull side to mid field. Should continue to improve.
