2007 World Showcase
Raymond Rodriguez is a 2007 OF/C with a 6'2'', 184 lb. frame from Caguas, Puerto Rico, who attends PR Baseball Academy. Raymond has a long projectable body and showed great raw tools at the showcase. At the plate Raymond has very projectable hitting tools. He has a long smooth swing with solid bat speed. He shows easy lift in his swing and their could be a lot of homeruns in his future. In the outfield Raymond has the tools to be a very good corner outfielder. He has a very strong arm, but is a little stiff at times. Raymond has huge potential and should see a lot of attention from pro scouts this spring.
