Alex Junghans is a 2024 SS/2B with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Franklin, TN who attends Lipscomb Academy. Long and lean athletic build with square shoulders and lots of room to get stronger. Switch-hitter at the plate, has quick hands from an open stance on the right side, gets some extension and lift through contact, more rotational with tighter hands from the left side but has quick hips and some bat speed, still learning to repeat from both sides but shows bat speed potential and the ability to drive the ball. 6.95 runner in the sixty. Primary infielder on defense, has quick and adjustable hands at the ball, long and loose arm action with some carry, athletic actions. Projectable player in all areas. Good student, verbal commitment to Wake Forest.
