Tristan Menchaca is a 2023 SS/MIF with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Burleson, TX who attends Centennial. Posted a 7.30 in the 60 yard dash. Primary SS, slim frame showed loose actions making plays. Worked on top of plays fielding it deep, glove skill work well and ranged to both sides with control. Longer arm action can stayed behind at times, good play making ability when he pieces it all together. Right-handed hitter, compact swing has a heavy barrel with good impact when he is connected. Launches on time, flashed some strength off the bat that can play to all fields. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
