Halvin Maldonado is a 2022 OF/ with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Humacao, PR who attends International Baseball Academy. Medium height with some strength to the frame and lots of room to bulk. Ran a 7.40 in the sixty yard dash. A primary outfielder, works through the ball with short and quick strides. Works the glove out front and has a short arm stroke helping to release quick. True carry and on line throws. A right-handed hitter, uses a wider base with higher hands and a simple set up. Anchors the back leg before firing the core hard. Pretty direct path and accelerates the top hand across contact. Looks to get out front and pull. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
