Alberto Rigual is a 2022 C/3B/OF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Southwest Miami. Ran a 7.32 second 60-yard dash. Medium frame with present physicality to the build. Primary catcher, worked out behind the dish with athleticism in his stance, starts slightly side straddled, good footwork out of the crouch with a quick transfer to a strong arm that produces great carry to the bag. Right-handed hitter, sets up wide in the lower half with high hands and a high back elbow, stays simple and direct to contact with good bat speed, works mostly to the back side with some lift and carry off the barrel when squared. Good student. Named to 2020 Fall Top Prospect National Showcase Top Prospect List.
