Drew Stephenson is a 2023 C/1B, OF with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends East Cobb Baseball Academy. Ran a 7.42 second sixty. primary catcher with a strong solid build. Sits in a square set up receiving the ball with soft hands, gains ground into the throws with a longer release showing above average arm strength on the throws while recording a 2.08 second pop time. In the outfield he worked under control to the ball fielding it on the side and transferring into a big crow hop with average arm strength to the bases. Right-handed hitter, rocks back into the load getting the weight onto the back side before shifting forward into contact with a compact bat path keeping the hands inside the ball with line drive contact. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
