Kyle Castleberry is a 2019 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Charleston, SC who attends Bishop England HS. Recorded a 7.28 second 60-yard dash time. Long lanky build with a wiry frame and lots of room to fill out. Primary righthanded pitcher with lots of life to the glove side. Throws exclusively from the stretch and lands upright on his front leg. Short stride down the mound and releases from a lower three-quarters arm slot. Good direction toward the plate and shows a breaking ball in the mid-60s as well. Arm strength plays nicely from his secondary positions of first base and the infield. Righthanded hitter with an inside swing path. Upper half dominant swing with a toe tap load into the swing. Gentle swing and will increase power with additional strength. Good student.
