Michael Bass is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Canton, GA who attends Woodstock. Large frame with a lean build. High waist with room to fill out physically. Ran a 7.52 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, proper footwork present as he worked into the baseball under control. Gets the glove down deep after breaking down as he gathers to the side. Proved to have a fluid arm stroke as he threw it 83 mph with carry. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working exclusively from the stretch. Belt high lift and stride as he stays direct to dish. Mechanically sound. Higher slot release with whip to the arm. Fastball was lively out of hand up to 83 mph. Curveball in mid-60's with vertical movements and still work in progress. Right-Handed Hitter, pinched front knee and a bit open. Works into stride as the hands sink into separation. Fires the hands early and looks to get the bat head out front to pull the baseball. Lofted cut at times as he looks to lift the baseball. Good Student. Named to National Underclass Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
