Jacob Rousseau is a 2020 OF/MIF with a 5-5 120 lb. frame from Oxford, MS who attends Oxford HS. Shorter slender build, very young look. Has nice athletic quickness, 6.86 in the sixty, has good footwork and routes through the ball in the outfield, comes through the ball with energy, arm strength still developing. Right handed hitter, busy hand load impacts his timing, swings hard with an uphill swing plane, tends to open his front side early, power approach on a speed body. Also pitched, long arm action with a cross fire delivery and good drive to the plate, fastball topped out at 63 mph. Good student.
