Bowen Wentz is a 2025 2B/RHP, MIF, OF with a 5-9 130 lb. frame from Woodstock, GA who attends River Ridge. Smaller to medium frame with a young, lean build showing room to fill out physically. Ran a 7.98 second sixty yard dash. Primary Second Baseman, showing good first step actions as he proved to have some lateral range. Worked into the baseball under control as he gathers deep in the stance. Funnels to the waist before slowing down momentum into transfer and release. Threw it 71 mph with accuracy during drills. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, works into a side-step to a belt high lift. Drops and drives as he stays direct to the dish. Full arm circle before releasing from a higher slot. Mechanically sound and proved he could repeat his actions as he flashed just an upper-60's fastball. Secondary Outfielder, aggressive routes to the baseball as he gathers to the side while carrying momentum into release. One hop accuracy as he threw it 72 mph during drills. Fundamentally sound with footwork and will make strides as he adds strength to the equation. Right-Handed Hitter, spread out and open with the front side. High hands with a flat barrel. Strides out as the hands sink into slot before working into an uphill path. Looks to stay inside the baseball and drive it middle-away. More pop will come with a strength gain and some mechanical clean up's. Great Student.
