Nathaniel Carminucci is a 2018 C/ with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Somers, NY who attends North Salem High School. Medium build and frame, athletic, broad shoulders, strong lower half, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.89 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, receives with both hands, explodes out of crouch, side saddle start, compact, tight arm action, and accuracy to the bag. Good carry to the bag with a workout pop time of 2.19. At the plate, started with a high hand set and came closed with a leg lift timing mechanism. Active barrel pre-swing and generates bat speed well. Got to all fields with approach showing gap-to-gap power with leverage in his swing. Line drive swing plane with strength through the ball. Good student.
