Brenden Blakeman is a 2019 SS/RHP, 2B, OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Queen Creek, AZ who attends Queen Creek. Medium frame with slender, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.22 seconds. Cocks hands back deep into load, rotational directionality in lower half with downward swing plane, showed ability to work all fields on the ground. Worked in the infield, solid footwork and gets positioned well, quick arm stroke with clean transfer, up to 77 mph across. Showed very good upside on the mound, great tempo to delivery, compact arm stroke with good timing through delivery, filled up lower half of strike zone with good command, fastball worked 78-83 mph with solid arm side life. Worked in curveball with 12/6 shape and late, sharp break. Named to 2018 West Underclass Top Prospect List, excellent student, committed to Mesa CC.
