Luis Veloz is a OF with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from Woodland Park, NJ. Long and lean athletic build, young look, very projectable physically. 7.12 runner, works well to the ball in the outfield, fields the ball out front, nice arm strength with carry, not consistent with his footwork yet but athletic and high energy. Right handed hitter, open stance with a leg raise trigger, long and loose swing with very good present bat speed, was very well timed in games and made lots of loud contact, gap to gap power with more to come in the future, has a high offensive ceiling based on this look.
