Jesse Franklin is a 2017 OF with a 6-2 197 lb. frame from Seattle, WA who attends Seattle Prep. Broad shouldered athletic build, very strong with room to get stronger. Runs very well for his size, 6.47 in the sixty, has athletic actions in the outfield, fields out front well, close to over the top arm slot with a short stride out front, can improve his throwing mechanics. Left handed hitter, upright open stance, high hands, big stride into contact, has quick hands and good bat speed, pull to mid field contact. Very interesting athlete with his speed/strength combination. Good student, verbal commitment to Michigan.
