Garrett Evans is a 2018 OF/RHP with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Chaparral HS. Evans has a large athletic projectable frame. Hits from a square stance with an upright set up with high hands. Shows good bat speed with a line drive swing plane. Pull approach with solid contact. Consistently squared up balls. Power should develop with minor adjustments at the plate. Defensively primary OF, threw 83 with a long arm action. Sure actions to the ball with a clean transfer and release. Also pitched, high 3/4 arm slot with a tight release. Creates good downhill plane with fastball, around zone. Will elevate fastball when needed. Named to Top Prospect List. Outstanding Student.
