Jesus Nunez is a 2018 SS with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Santo Domingo, DR. Slender young narrow waisted build, plenty of time and room to get stronger. 7.02 runner, fields out front with soft hands on defense, shows lateral range and quick actions getting rid of the ball, plenty of present arm strength despite his age, stayed balanced well charging the ball, has all the athleticism for the middle of the field. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with quick hands, stays direction to the ball well, surprising barrel whip for his size and age, projects physically, aggressive hitter early in counts. Very interesting young international shortstop.
