Victor Fimbres is a 2017 RHP/OF with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from San Fernando, CA who attends San Fernando. Medium frame with solid strength and overall build throughout body. Ran a 7.61 seconds 60 yard dash. Primary pitcher, coils hip into leg lift, uncoils well and rotates to get online, uses lower half well in delivery. Long, extended arm action to three quarters slot with good arm speed. Repeats mechanics well. Fastball worked 78-81 with slight life to arm side. Also showed curveball with solid tilting action, will slow arm down at times to throw pitch. Hits from balanced stance with compact, short-to-ball swing path. Hits off backside at times, good approach overall, sprays ball to all fields. Worked out defensively in the OF, fields cleanly at the ball and has solid footwork into throwing mechanics. Solid arm strength, topping at 80 MPH. Good student.
