Edward Copper is a 2023 RHP with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Ivyland, PA who attends P27 Academy. Big and burly build with good present strength, pretty mature physically. Full hands over head delivery into a mid 3/4's arm slot, repeats his delivery well and has some deception. Fastball worked up to 91 mph, gets big running life on his fastball, movement is very consistent and it got into right handed hitter's fists frequently. Change up similar life was a solid pitch that he used to attack left handed hitters with, threw it for strikes and doubled up with it. Soft sweeping slider was a distant third pitch this outing, improvement on this pitch will be key to his overall development. Good student, verbal commitment to South Carolina

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
