Nicolas Kircher is a 2019 OF/MIF with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Shawnee, KS who attends Olathe South. Medium frame with an athletic build. Frame projects for additional strength while maintaining athleticism. Ran a 6.78 sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder with athletic footwork while closing to the baseball. Says low while working through pick up and maintained momentum at exchange. Generated on line carry to the bag topping at 80 miles per hour. Also worked out defensively from the infield showing quick feet with soft hands while working through the baseball. Clean exchanges and released from a three-quarters arm slot. Throws produced accurate carry across the infield at 79 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a slightly crouched, even stance and reaching front side trigger. Works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Loose, extended hand path to baseball with a level, line drive barrel plane through extension. Showed developing feel for the barrel while flashing solid bat speed and strength through the zone. Employed a mid field approach but flashed the hand speed to turn the barrel and work to pull side as well.
