Bret Donner is a 2016 3B/UT with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Sierra Vista, AZ who attends Buena HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength with room for more. Right handed hitter, short swing path to the ball, upper body rotational swing, best swings were impacting the ball out front, line drive contact and controlled the barrel well. 7.21 runner, was aggressive on the bases and got solid jumps and challenged the defense. Second base profile on defense, has balanced actions and arm works well, tends to lay back on the ball on the left side of the diamond. Good student.
