Brandon Bonura is a 2019 1B/IF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Metairie, LA who attends Brother Martin HS. Has a young, slender frame, lean build, plenty of room to fill out physically as he continues to put on additional muscle. From the infield, has solid footwork and good hands, flashes signs of athleticism. Made accurate throws across the infield with arm strength up to 73 MPH. At the plate, starts with a narrow, slightly open stance and a low hand set. Has a contact approach at the plate while looking to go the other way. Flashed ability to spray the field. On the mound, throws from a high 3/4 to over the top arm slot. Generates good direction toward the plate. Curveball has 12/6 shape with quality depth and break. Pounds the strike zone. Good student.
