Sam Zarling is a 2017 3B/OF with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from West Bend, WI who attends Kettle Moraine Lutheran HS. Zarling has a large frame with strength through out. Hits from a slightly open stance, quiet hands, line drive swing plane with lift. Good bat speed. Has strength in swing with good jump and barrel control. Has gap to gap approach. Defensively from the INF, fields out front, good arm strength across diamond with carry. Accurate throws. From the OF, good first step to ball, fields it out front and comes through well. Feet work well. Good Student.
