Cole Lewis is a 2018 OF/RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Lubbock, TX who attends Lubbock-Cooper HS. Has a medium frame and an athletic build. Posted a 7.25 second sixty yard dash. From the outfield, showed a solid glove and quick throwing actions, throws had good carry while showing velocity as high 87 mph. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a wide base, high hand set, and high back elbow. Leg lift trigger into full swing, uses a middle to pull side approach on a good bat path while generating natural lift through contact. On the mound, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with good loosenss and arm speed. Stays online and directional through delivery, not afraid to work inside on hitters. Fastball shows good life, slider has short but sharp break. Excellent student.
