Luis Miguel Rodriguez is a 2018 C/1B with a 5-11 184 lb. frame from Ponce, PR who attends Puerto Rico BB Academy. Medium build with good present strength in his lower half. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a leg lift trigger, upper half swing with limited lower half use, has the strength to create some barrel whip, looks to hit the ball out front with some lift in his swing, pull to mid field contact. Tends to come up early throwing and receiving, makes accurate throws with a quick release when balanced, 2.04 best pop time, game actions in drills. Good student, signed with Sterling College.
