Cody Finke is a 2019 1B/C with a 6-2 253 lb. frame from Georgetown, KY who attends Scott County HS. Large frame with very physical and strong build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.86 seconds. Sets up to hit from even-based stance, squatted, wider-spread, high hand set, rotational swing in lower half, flashed good weight shift at times. Physical strength is evident, puts it on display occasionally in swing. Can create leverage out front, showed ability to backspin the ball with authority and good carry up the gaps. Worked out at 1st base, shows clean funnel out front with solid hand actions, relatively light on feet, showed solid pivot ability and footwork with solid accuracy on throws.
