Quinton Carpenter is a 2018 RHP/IF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Magnolia, TX who attends Magnolia HS. Medium athletic build. Polished pitcher with a solid delivery and three pitch mix, repeats his mechanics well, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, gets nice movement on his fastball and creates soft off the barrel contact. Curveball will show tight 11/5 shape at times, some feel for a change up with life. Works quickly and keeps his fielders on their toes. Velocity can bump up with additional strength. Good student.
