Louie Kessinger is a 2019 SS/ with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Lexington, KY who attends Henry Clay. Compact and athletic frame. Ran a 7.15 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, worked out in the infield with low effort actions, cleans hands making all plays, shuffles into release but could gain more ground into throws for possible added arm strength, topped out at 82 mph across the diamond, nice overall skillset and tools to work with. Righthanded hitter, sets up with a slightly open stance, high hand set and a high back elbow, takes a direct hand path to contact with a downhill swing plane, smoothness to path with a clean follow through, worked the gaps nicely during his round of batting practice, will continue to improve with added strength.
