Liam Bailey is a 2018 RHP/OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Hurricane, WV who attends Hurricane. Medium frame with lean, athletic present build and good room to continue filling out. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.26 seconds. Primary pitcher, shows rotational delivery, front hip opens up, tilts trunk to 1B side to get arm into overtop slot, FB worked 72-75 with solid life to the arm side. Showed CB in low 60's with solid depth and 11/5 shape, did good job pitching to contact and throwing consistent strides. Hits with slightly barred/wrapped hand start, short and quick path to the ball with solid bat speed, line drive swing plane with inside-out, opposite-field approach. Makes consistent contact to all fields. Showed well defensively in the OF, moved to the ball well with fluidity throughout actions, fielded cleanly and worked through well, shows online one hop carry to target with OF velocity up to 79 MPH. Very good student.
