Kyle Grupico is a 2023 C/OF with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Staten Island, NY who attends St. Peter's Boys. Recorded a 5.06 second forty-yard dash time. Smaller, compact frame with room to fill out and add strength. Primary catcher that receives from a narrow, side-saddled stance with soft hands and fairly quick mid-line transfers. Gains ground out of the crouch towards his target and works into a shorter arm action. Recorded accurate throws up to 71 mph from behind the plate during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from an upright, narrow stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and hanging leg lift trigger. Compact line drive stroke with quickness to his hands and good feel for the barrel. Generates loud impact from gap-to-gap and flashed some future power potential. Displayed consistent bat-to-ball skills and the ability to stay in the hitting zone for a long time. Solid overall prospect with plenty of upside remaining on both sides of the ball, will continue to improve with minor refinements mechanically and additional strength. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
