Andrew Fox is a 6'2" 185 pound 2007 infielder from Vancouver, Washington who attends Columbia River High School. He has a large frame and a big athletic build with room to fill out still. He has good defensive actions and showed a strong arm by throwing 80 mph during the workout. He has soft sure hands and stays balanced throughout every ground ball he gets. At the plate, Andrew has a compact stroke with very good balance and an average load. He has very good bat speed through the hitting zone and drives the ball to both gaps with power. He will add more power as he gets more mature and stronger. In the game, he hit a ball well that was down in the zone and showed good base running ability. He looks to take the extra base and force the outfielders into making mistakes.istake. Andrew alos took his turn on the mound by throwing 81 mph with his fastball and 68 mph with his curveball. He has a compact arm action with good arm speed. He has an aggressive balanced delivery and finishes very well. Andrew is a good student and has the athletic ability to open some eyes on and off the field.
