Seth Parkinson is a 2022 2B/IF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Springfield, IL who attends Rochester. Recorded a 7.33 in the 60-yard dash. Primary second baseman showcases great footwork and rounds the ball with ease as he funnels it out front with a clean and smooth exchange out of a three-quarter arm slot while accurately throwing the ball across the diamond at 78 mph. The right-handed hitter steps to the plate with a slightly open, spread stance and a simple leg lift trigger as he rotates the lower half. Parkinson has quick hands, a short compact swing to the ball, and a line drive approach alongside good barrel control with developing backspin on the ball. Tremendous student.
