Payne Fontenot is a 2024 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-0 172 lb. frame from Colleyville, TX who attends Fort Worth Christian. Posted a 7.55 in the 60 yard dash. Primary 3B, has good control and moves well to both side with the glove skill to compliment. Solid feel for the backhand play, the glove has fine upside as he continues to develop. Right handed pitcher, projectable frame working with loose actions for now. He topped the fastball out at 80 with a breaking ball up to 71. Has some jerks in his delivery but an idea to repeat his operation and be consistent with the breaking ball. Tunnels well, held a sound outing with good life. Effective secondary arm. Right handed hitter, does a good job getting.a full swing across with intent to elevate. Has some barrel control to iron out as he progresses. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
