Dalton Shakar is a 2024 3B/RHP/2B/SS/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Canton, GA who attends Woodstock. Shakar works from a medium athletic build with projection still to come in the frame. As a primary 3B, he displayed active footwork from the IF with range up the middle. He successfully changed arm slots when needed and topped out at 82 mph across the diamond. Shakar also released cleanly on the bump out of a high 3/4 slot, extending well down the hill with some heaviness to the FB up to 81 mph. The breaker worked 12-6 and flashed late drop as Shakar's primary off speed offering. Offensively, the righty started from a wider even base with a high hand set and toe tap trigger to produce pull side contact. He showcased hand speed through the zone with refining barrel control and an exit velo of 76 mph. Ran a 7.49 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
