Collin Camarigg is a 2018 2B/RHP/SS with a 5-8 158 lb. frame from Naples, FL who attends Gulf Coast HS. Medium, athletic frame with narrow shoulder and present strength to lower half, additional room to still fill out. Ran a 7.26 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, fields the ball out front and moves well to the backhand, has lateral range with a sound first step, gathers behind the ball and shows smoothness to arm action with carry across. Graded out higher on the mound in this look, balanced dlievery with a leg lift up to belt, gets tall on backside and strides on line during drive to plate. Short arm action through the back working to a three-quarters slot. Gets on top of the ball well, short running life and topped out at 84 mph, not afraid to challenge hitters on the inner half of plate. Able to induce weak ground ball contact, fills up the zone and shows solid feel for an 11-5 shaped curveball, can front door to lefthanded hitters at 72 mph. Righthanded hitter, begins with an upright and even stance, loads into a high back elbow and uses a shorter leg lift trigger for timing. Strides on line with lower half into contact, quiet load overall, tight hands with a simple and repeatable swing plane. Occasionally opens front side early, natural lift to swing plane, shows leverage when working the pull side, does a nice job of staying balanced throughout swing. Good student.
