Jonah Chen is a 2022 C/OF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Milton, GA who attends Milton. Recorded a 7.38 second 60 yard dash time. Lanky and lean build. Primary catcher with a side straddle stance and short arm action. Tight release and stiff actions. Developing wrist strength. Gains ground towards second base and shows accurate throws. Clean motions, pop time will improve as he gets stronger and loosens the arm action. Right-handed hitter with a slightly open stance and high hand set. Small leg lift trigger with good weight shift into the swing. Will occasionally spin off instead of staying directional and driving through the ball. Shows mid-field to pull side approach and a loose swing with good extension. Excellent student.
