Caswell Smith is a 2019 RHP/ with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Ball Ground, GA who attends Pickens County HS. Large and physical build with a relatively mature frame and lots of strength. Primary righthanded pitcher who only threw during the event. Side step into a high leg lift above the belt. Quick, online arm stroke with plenty of arm speed. Drives well off the backside with good extension. Higher three-quarters arm slot and some effort upon release. Fastball topped out at 91 mph and flashed some cutting action. Curveball has some downward bite to it. Stays online down the mound. Firm changeup that he maintains arm speed well on. Three-pitches for strikes. Good student. Named to the 2018 Florida Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List. Verbal commitment to College of Charleston.
