2022 WWBA Workout Showcase (June 23)
Pierce Juhan is a 2023 C/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Brookhaven, GA who attends Marist. Really nice, symmetrical overall frame right now, with good current strength and plenty of room to add overall physicality. Ran the 60 yard dash is a respectable 7.08 seconds, especially for a primary position catcher. Starts from an offset stance, gaining ground aggressively and displaying excellent compact, quick exchange. Arm strength is solid with a top velocity of 78 mph from behind the dish but registered excellent 1.83 pop time due to quickness of transfer. Created good backspin on throws and put the ball on the bag regularly. RHH working with an even stance and lower hand set initially. Loads into his backside and gets good weight transfer through to contact. Hands are strong at contact, generating good bat speed and showed some real loft on balls hit to the pull side gap. Outstanding student, good athlete and projects as an offensive catcher long term.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
