2023 Mid-Atlantic Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Zach Linn is a 2024 1B/LHP, OF with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Yardley, PA who attends Conwell Egan Catholic. Compact frame with some dense muscularity and solid overall actions. Primary position 1B, playing deep in his legs and working the glove out front and through the ball well. Showed some decent lateral mobility and used full arm path on feeds getting up to 76 mph across diamond. Secondary LHP, working from 3B side of rubber and full leg lift to belly and good inward turn to load hips. Holds hands away from body at belt level breaking into full inline path. Accelerates through an over the top arm angle and works aggressively in his core but will get offline too early here and there. FB peaked at 73 mph with some life to arm side and SL was his best offering on the day. Sweeping action on the SL that got into the upper-60's and generated some swing and miss. LHH working from a slightly open stance and whippy hands driven swing. Displayed strength at impact and got path started with barrel tilt to load. Small hover leg lift and turns well in the midsection. Plenty of bat speed here. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
