Danny DeSousa is a 2019 SS/RHP, 2B, OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Milton, GA who attends Cambridge. Medium and athletic frame, lean with some room to fill physically. Ran a 7.57 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, showed athletic actions to the baseball with good footwork throughout gather and into throws, glove works nicely out in front of body, soft hands, gains some ground into throws but could gain some velocity with more lower half usage, throws have carry to the bag, showed the ability to throw from multiple arm angles during drills with accuracy to the bag, topped out at 77 mph across the diamond. Lefthanded hitter, high hand set with a high back elbow, clean swing moving bat smoothly through the hitting zone, flashed some leverage to the pull side, gets extended well out in front, squared up many ball to the pull side, very consistent barrel feel with line drive contact to his pull side.
