Montana Semmel is a 2019 RHP/C with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from Stamford, CT who attends Westhill HS. XL frame with strong, physical build. Righthanded pitcher, lengthy arm stroke through the back with small stab that takes it offline, excellent arm speed coming through, creates plane down in the zone, fastball worked 89-92 with makings of plus sink. Showed feel for both secondary offerings. Curveball worked in the mid-70's and showed excellent spin and bite on 11/5 shape, swing and miss pitch; changeup also showed swing and miss potential and very good fade. Very good performance, on the draft radar this spring. Good student, signed with Chipola College. Named to 2019 World Showcase Top Prospect List.
