Zachary Lyles is a 2023 OF/LHP, 1B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Fairmount, GA who attends Sonoraville. Recorded a 6.99 second sixty yard dash time. Strong and physical frame. Primary outfielder, fields off the front foot. Short and compact arm circle and gets it out quickly with good accuracy to the base. Also threw an inning on the mound. The left-handed pitcher works form a short and compact arm action with a quick release. Ball jumps out of his hand, the fastball, 85-88 (2308 RPM), plays up. Not afraid to challenge on the inner half of the plate. Showed a solid change-up that he killed the spin on to 1273 RPM. 1-7 curveball with depth that was up to 2137 RPM. Moves all three pitches around and throws them for strikes. Challenged hitters and went right at them. Left-handed hitter, starts from a wide stance with low hands and a low back elbow, utilizes a leg lift trigger. Pull heavy approach with good bat speed. Can get lift and elevate the ball off the bat. Flashes of power from a rotational swing. Exciting player with two-way potential. Western Kentucky commit.
