Cain Tatum is a 2019 RHP/1B with a 6-8 205 lb. frame from Dacula, GA who attends Winder-Barrow HS. Very long and slender build, narrow hips and shoulders. Simple delivery with good balance and direction, 3/4's arm slot on his fastball, tends to significantly lower his arm slot on his secondary pitches and will have to make adjustments to that. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 89 mph, aggressive with his fastball early in counts and throws strikes with it. Curveball has good sweeping depth and shows good feel for dropping it in for strikes. Developing change up from an especially low slot. Shows good athleticism on the mound with quick feet on his pickoffs. Should keep improving as he gets stronger. Good student, verbal commitment to Georgia.
