Jason Walk is a 2023 OF/2B, SS, MIF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends Harrison. Medium frame with a lean, athletic type build. Ran a 6.86 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, took clean routes to the baseball as he showed off some range. Gathers to the side as he worked through the baseball. Quick release as he showed urgency. Accurate to the bag as he threw it 84 mph during drills. Secondary Second Baseman, proved to have lateral quickness as he worked around the baseball smoothly. Confident with the glove. Quick release and was accurate from multiple slots. Athleticism showing in all facets of his defensive skill set. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, side step to a belt high lift. Medium arm circle in the back to a higher slot release. Stays online to target and proved he could pound the zone with his two-pitch mix. Fastball up to 78 mph and mixed in a sharp slider with short vertical depth. Switch Hitter, from the right-side, balanced with high hands behind the ear. Short stride as he works into a linear cut. Bat speed present as he relies on the upper half to create pop. Middle to pull-side approach as he showed off table setter type looks. From the left-side, balanced to start as he works into stride. Creates separation and gets the lower half involved. Quick hands as he fires the bat head through the zone. Proved he could square it up and drive it to all fields. Legit feel from both sides of the dish. Named to Southeast Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.
