Patrick Johnson is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Chattanooga, TN who attends Baylor. Medium and athletic frame. Ran a 7.21 second 60 yard dash. Only pitched at the event, starts his delivery with a side step up to a high leg lift to start his delivery, takes his arm back to a full arm action up to a high ¾ arm slot, crossbody delivery and arm works well through the back, gets out over his front side at release repeatedly. Fastball topped out at 84 mph and he locates to both halves, flashes life to armside on the fastball, strong feel to spin, sharp curveball with 11-5 shape and strikes, firm changeup that stays straight on its ride to the plate, arm speed and spin rate of curveball projects well.
