Nathan Lopez is a 2017 C/1B with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from San Ramon, CA who attends Cal HS. Tall very projectable young build, has some present strength with more to come. Right handed hitter, open spread stance, limited shift into contact, long and fluid swing when his hips are timed well, has pull power and showed the ability to drive the ball, has hitting tools to keep improving. 7.30 runner, receives the ball well behind the plate, good hands, arm strength still developing, 2.14 best pop time, also plays first base. Good student.
