Yanick Rodriguez is a 2018 SS with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from San Juan, PR who attends International Baseball Academy. Tall and slender build, lots of room to get stronger. 6.73 runner, has active feet on defense and shows range to both sides, has a quick transfer and release and makes accurate throws, long and loose arm action that should continue to improve in raw strength, has the tools and athleticism to keep improving in the middle infield. Right handed hitter, slightly open stance with a big leg lift load that will occasionally leave him late, shows looseness to his swing, stays balanced well and hits through the ball, good swing to build on as he gains strength.
