Makenzie Pate is a 2019 OF/RHP/MIF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Lilburn, GA who attends Parkview HS. Projectable build with square shoulders and plenty of room to fill out physically. Ran a 6.89 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, shows balance to the baseball and throughout gather, quick exchange and release, solid overall actions, compact arm action with good arm strength, topped out at 88 from the outfield. Righthanded hitter, starts with a wide base, even stance and a high hand set, leg lift trigger with a good weight transfer but could utilize the lower half more, shorter path to the baseball, flashes some present bat speed, slight lift in swing, needs to continue to get stronger and the final product could be special. Good student. Named to 2017 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Top Prospect List.
